More than 30 years after the death of Kurt Cobain, the emblematic figure of the Grunge cultural, social and musical movement, the Cogeco Amphitheatre will bring him back to life with the Symphonic Nirvana Unplugged Experience on September 25, 2025. True fans will immerse themselves in the entirety of MTV Unplugged Live in New York, broadcast live in 1993 and released the following year.
Audiences will rediscover the masterpiece in a whole new dimension. Hommage à Nirvana - L'intégral Unplugged in New York by LUIS and MANU, renowned for their performances across Quebec, will be accompanied by musicians from the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières, under the direction and arrangements of conductor Olivier Hébert.
Nirvana is three studio albums, three live albums, seven compilations, seven documentaries, songs imprinted in the collective memory. It's Smell Like Teen Spirit, Come as you Are, Lithium, In Bloom, Something in the Way, Polly, All Apologies, On a Plain, Heart-Shaped Box, The Man Who Sold the World... no one is indifferent to Nirvana.
