Les Tireux d'Roches

After nearly 30 years of bringing traditional music to life both here and abroad, Les Tireux d’Roches will be performing at the Cabaret de l’Amphithéâtre Cogeco on December 10. The band from Mauritius will present its festive, energetic, and unifying musical world, inspired by its latest album La déroute.

With a fleur-de-lis tattooed on their hearts, Les Tireux d’Roches have been celebrating Quebec’s roots since 1998. Throughout their career, the five musicians have toured North America, Europe, and Asia, performing countless shows and connecting with audiences from around the world. Their track record includes appearances at the Shanghai Arts Festival, the Francos de Montréal, the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières, the Festival Mémoire et Racines, and the Calgary Folk Music Festival.

With eight studio albums to their credit, the group continues to blend the richness of traditional music with folk and roots influences. Their music stands out for its original compositions, vibrant arrangements, and infectious energy that quickly transforms the venue into a true family celebration.

First part - HARMO

Delightfully original yet musically sophisticated, D'Harmo brings together four of the most talented harmonica players on the Quebec music scene. This multi-genre ensemble, featuring the entire family of harmonicas (diatonic, chromatic, bass, and chord harmonicas), performs an authentic repertoire inspired by traditional Jewish and Quebecois music, jazz, classical, and avant-garde styles. The harmonica virtuosity of Lévy Bourbonnais, Samuel Caron, Cédric Houdayer, and Pascal Veillette, combined with their energetic and humorous stage presence, makes D'Harmo an extraordinary musical experience.
