A cinematic vision of an epic tale rooted in Indigenous lands in Nova Scotia. 

1755: the Acadians are deported… A scar that the passage of time struggles to erase. An epic saga that tells the story of legendary lovers. A love in exile—that of the revolutionaries Évangéline and Gabriel—as the heart of Acadia burns within them. Even today, a troubled memory lingers within us, as we keep in mind the bonds forged between the French people and the Mi’Kmaq Nation. Évangéline and Gabriel will lead us along the paths of a quest marked by hope and healing.
