Trois-Rivières, April 18, 2022 - Exclusively in Quebec, the Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières, Live Nation and Heavy Montreal are proud to present the metal concert featuring the bands Anthrax and Black Label Society. These legends of American thrash metal will offer a fiery performance on the main stage of the Cogeco Amphitheatre in Trois-Rivières on August 24, 2022.
Contributing to the emergence of thrash metal in the mid and late 1980s, Anthrax and Black Society Label will surely offer a memorable evening to the province's biggest metal fans.
To kick off the evening, Quebec band Sword, followed by Hatebreed, will heat up the amphitheatre starting at 6:00 p.m.
About Anthrax
Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The band is considered one of the leaders of the 1980s thrash metal scene and is one of the Big Four of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer.
About Black Label Society
Black Label Society is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1998 by guitarist/vocalist Zakk Wylde. To date, the band has released eleven studio albums, two live albums, two compilation albums, one EP and three video albums.
