Trois-Rivières, November 29, 2019 – In response to the strong interest in Robert Charlebois' “Robert en CharleboisScope” show, the Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières, in collaboration with La Tribu, is pleased to announce an additional event to be held on August 29, 2020, the day after first performance.
Still and always an amazing performer, Robert Charlebois presents a large rock concert which unfolds in music as in images: Robert en CharleboisScope. Fit as ever, the one who celebrated his 75th birthday last June joined a team of high-flying visual creators for the realization of this show-event.
Robert en CharleboisScope sees the immense author, composer and singer revisit his greatest songs, leaving a beautiful place for those who move, accompanied by his eight musicians. A performance that will be supported by various spectacular video projections, on a giant screen of the size of two houses. For the occasion, two multimedia studios that have contributed to several major scenographic projects in recent years have exceptionally combined their talents and creativity: 4U2C (P!NK, Jay Z - Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift) and Champagne club sandwich (Jain, Ai, Dead Obies). Together, they created several visual works that translate time into images and "motion design" - be it psychedelia from the 1960s or a nod to the 80s - and illustrate several key moments in the vast career of Robert Charlebois. Personal archives, small documentary jewels and other surprises will be presented.

Robert Charlebois' Robert en CharleboisScope show will be presented on August 29, 2020 at the Cogeco Amphitheatre in Trois-Rivières. Tickets starting at $ 55 (plus taxes) will go on sale on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11 am and available on amphitheatrecogeco.com, at the J.-Antonio-Thompson box office and at 819 380-9797. Tickets are still available for the first show on August 28, 2020.
