A grand musical production that captures all the emotional intensity of this brilliant saga to which Québécois are so deeply attached!
If there’s one story dear to the hearts of Québécois, it’s that of Émilie and Ovila, portrayed by Marina Orsini and Roy Dupuis, from the famous novel Les Filles de Caleb.
A legendary work and a TV series that is just as epic and mythical, inspired by the family past of author Arlette Cousture. Les Filles de Caleb tells the story of a passionate love and a tumultuous relationship, while also depicting the upheaval of a society and the harsh Quebec of the early 20th century. A show built on an unrelenting emotional curve, drawing from both the TV series and its most iconic characters, as well as the original compositions by Blair Thomson, created to transform several of the most memorable scenes from the TV series into music. A rich experience made up of visual projections and moving, contemporary musical performances, guided by masterful symphonic orchestrations.
The production will also feature exceptional performers, various stage artists, and dancers.
