Trois-Rivières, March 7, 2022 - The Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières is pleased to announce that GSI Musique has chosen conductor Dina Gilbert to lead the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières (OSTR) in the Histoires sans paroles - Harmonium symphonique concert series, which will be presented exclusively at the Cogeco Amphitheatre in Trois-Rivières from May 24 to June 4.
Known for her energy, precision and versatility, Dina Gilbert was the perfect person for this crucial role in the show. She is the Music Director of the Orchestre symphonique de l'Estuaire in Quebec and the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra in British Columbia, as well as the Principal Conductor of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal. In recent years, she has conducted numerous orchestras, including the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, the Orchestre métropolitain, the Orchestre symphonique de Québec, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra.
GSI Musique is also pleased to announce that singers Luce Dufault and Kim Richardson will join the concert series. After having participated in the recording of the album Histoires sans paroles, they will now offer their voices as a complementary instrument to the OSTR to enhance the highlights of the show. They will join some 100 artists on stage to give the audience a highly emotional musical and visual experience inspired by the psychedelic world of progressive rock. The visual design, scenography and staging of the concert will be created by Marcella Grimaux (Noisy Head Studio), under the artistic direction of Nicolas Lemieux (GSI Musique).

Released in December 2020, the instrumental album Histoires sans paroles - Harmonium symphonique has received an exceptional popular and critical reception, as evidenced by the 100,000 copies sold to date and the Félix award in the category Album of the Year - Reinterpretation. The album was co-produced by Serge Fiori and Simon Leclerc, who wrote the arrangements, under the artistic direction of Nicolas Lemieux.
