The Amphitheatre Cogeco has won top honors at the Award of Excellence in Steel Construction held by the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) on October 30th. The creation of architect Paul Laurendeau has won the “Favorite of the Jury” prize. Twenty-four (24) projects were candidates for this 17th Award of Excellence in Steel Construction. We are at wrapping up a summer that was exceptional in la Mauricie. Whether it was for the Festivoix, Dragao, the Grand-Prix de Trois-Rivières on two weekends, shows at the Cogeco Amphitheater or all the other attractions in the region, an outstanding amount of people chose us as a destination this summer. Mauricians were very welcoming and it didn't go unnoticed. Here at the Amphitheater, it was common to hear positive comments and to witness the amazement of people rediscovering la Mauricie....

Bring your chair! Spectators are welcomed to bring their folding chairs in the lawn section of the Cogeco Amphitheater on the nights of September 5 and 6 for the 100 Av. des Draveurs show. This musical gathering stars Ginette Reno, the OSTR, Steve Hill, Karim Ouellet, Alexandre Désilets and many more. Simple chairs only will be allowed.
