Trois-Rivières, May 1st, 2018 – Quebec’s public was waiting for it: the album Stone from Cirque du Soleil's Tribute Series to Plamondon will be available on May 18th. This opus is a complete and modern reinterpretation of 15 essential songs from the repertoire of the iconic lyricist, reinterpreted by 14 female performers well established on the Quebec and international scene. The show Stone - Tribute to Plamondon was born in 2017, as part of the Cirque du Soleil Tribute Series, presented at the Cogeco Amphitheatre of Trois-Rivières for 4 years and under the creative direction of 45 DEGREES. The first two extracts, Le monde est Stone, by Beyries and Oxygène, by Betty Bonifassi, are available on radios starting today.

Songs have been adapted and directed by Jean-Phi Goncalves, well renowned in the music world. We know him for his personal projects Plaster (electronic music album award in 2006) or Beast (English album award in 2009, and named at the Grammy in 2009) and for his collaborations and achievements with Ariane Moffatt, Diane Dufresne, Lauryn Hill, Pierre Lapointe and many others. We also owe him a remarkable participation in the series Big Little Lies and the original music of Hubert and Fanny.
