Acclaimed by over a million spectators worldwide, in prestigious venues such as London's Royal Albert Hall and Paris' Olympia, The Musical Box has once again chosen Trois-Rivières' Amphithéâtre Cogeco to present its brand new show on May 24.
50 years ago, Genesis made rock history with the release of their fifth album, Selling England by the Pound. This legendary opus, with iconic tracks such as I Know What I Like, Firth of Fifth and The Cinema Show, redefined the codes of rock music and continues to inspire generations of artists and fans.
Internationally acclaimed for its impressive ability to recreate Genesis concerts with striking accuracy, The Musical Box has received praise from Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins themselves:
“TMB recreates very faithfully what Genesis did. I saw them in Bristol with my children so they could discover what their father was doing at the time.” - Peter Gabriel
“It's not a tribute band, they've taken a period and faithfully recreated it, like a theatrical production would.” - Phil Collins
Pre-showArrive early to enjoy the most beautiful venue in Trois-Rivières, with a breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River. You'll discover singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and former member of Les Tireux d'roches, David Robert on the Terrace Stage. Come and see this Shawinigan artist while enjoying a dish from the Bistro de l'Amphithéâtre. Food and refreshments are available.
