Trois-Rivières, May 28, 2015 – The Board of Directors and the team of the Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières are proud to announce the presentation of the show 100 av. des Draveurs - Grand rassemblement musical, to be held September 5 and 6 at the Amphithéâtre Cogeco in Trois-Rivieres.
Several artists from different musical styles will come together on stage to offer a unique show accompanied by 56 musicians of the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières led by Conductor Jacques Lacombe. The queen of Québec song Ginette Reno will honour us with a selection of her greatest hits. Pop singer Karim Ouellet, blues musician Steve Hill, Trois-Rivières vocal quartet QW4RTZ, pop rock singer Alexandre Désilets, slammer David Goudreault, DJ Cat and singers Fabiola Toupin and Maritza will also take the stage during this jam packed weekend. A house band of four musicians (Guillaume Marchand on keyboard, Daniel Mongrain on guitar, Bob St. Laurent on drums and François Langevin on bass) under the musical direction of Guillaume Marchand will complete the program. All the artists and musicians will collaborate to create special renditions of songs of these many musical styles.
