Trois-Rivières, March 3, 2021 - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty regarding the conditions for the presentation of cultural activities this summer, the Corporation des Événement de Trois-Rivières and the Cirque du Soleil Group announce that the show Vive nos divas to be on the program this season at the Cogeco Amphitheater will be postponed until the summer of 2022.
Faced with the coronavirus pandemic, Cirque du Soleil was forced to suspend the creation and production of the show last spring due to government decrees to ensure the health, safety and well-being of employees, artists and spectators and to postpone all scheduled performances. The uncertain context of recent weeks has unfortunately forced the Corporation to postpone a second time the presentation of the show paying tribute to the great female voices of Quebec.
Vive nos divas – Hommage aux grandes voix féminines du Québec to be presented exclusively at the Cogeco Amphitheater in Trois-Rivières will be presented from July 13 to August 13, 2022.
Ticket holders for this show are encouraged to keep their tickets and will receive information, by email, about how the postponement works. Extension of the partnership agreement with the Cirque du Soleil Group
Given the exceptional circumstances leading to the report of the show Vive nos divas – Hommage aux grandes voix féminines du Québec, the initial agreement between the two organizations for the presentation of exclusive Cirque du Soleil shows in Trois-Rivières will once again be enhanced by an additional year in order to keep a total of ten productions at the rate of twenty performances per season.

We are pleased to have this extension of our agreement with the Corporation des Événement de Trois-Rivières, which allows us to continue to surprise the public from here and elsewhere with innovative projects”, says the President and CEO of Cirque du Soleil Group, Daniel Lamarre.
