Trois-Rivières, June 21, 2021 - The Corporation des Évènement de Trois-Rivières, LCQ Productions and Century Artists are proud to announce that an additional representation for The Ultimate Queen Celebration show, starring Marc Martel, will be held on Friday September 10, 2021 at the Cogeco Amphitheater. This is in addition to the one on September 9 which was originally announced for 2020, but which had to be postponed until 2021.
Recognized around the world not only for his voice identical to that of Freddie Mercury, but also for embodying his heart and soul, Marc Martel is the one who was chosen to record the vocal tracks for the biographical film Bohemian Rhapsody, which took the poster on the big screens all over the planet in 2018.
In addition to offering all the hits of the legendary group, The Ultimate Queen Celebration also incorporates a very unique angle that will appeal to admirers and show another facet of Marc Martel's talent. “Towards the end of his life, Freddie explored styles of music other than rock, including opera. With that in mind, the show also includes a segment of well-known songs, performed the way Freddie might have done if he had had the chance to sing them during this time, ”says Martel.
The 5 musicians will amaze spectators at the Cogeco Amphitheater during a colorful and emotional evening!
Tickets for the additionnal representation of The Ultimate Queen Celebration show will go on sale Monday, June 21, 2021 at 10 a.m. They will be available on amphitheatrecogeco.com and by phone Wednesday to Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 819 380-9797.
