Trois-Rivières, May 20, 2015– With less than two months before the official opening of the Amphithéâtre Cogeco with the premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s Tribute Series: Le Monde est Fou, the Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières has received feedback from spectators who will attend a performance of this exclusive show at the Amphithéâtre Cogeco.
More than half (53%) of visitors to the Amphithéâtre Cogeco this summer will be from outside the Mauricie region. An overview of visitors shows that all regions of Québec will be represented this summer.
Our neighbours from the Centre-du-Québec are very interested in the new show inspired by the music of Beau Dommage. Close to 15% of tickets were bought in this region.
Among the more remote areas, there is a lot of interest in Lanaudière, Montérégie, Montréal and Laurentides.
There was also interest for this new artistic environment from people in the United States and Ontario who will visit Trois-Rivières this summer season. These responses make it clear that the project is gathering significant attention throughout Québec and we can expect a healthy number of tourists in Trois-Rivières this summer.
