Cirque du Soleil - Hommage aux divas québécoises Postponement of the show to the 2021 season

Trois-Rivières, March 25, 2020 - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and recent government decrees to ensure the health, safety and well-being of employees, artists and spectators, the Corporation des Évènements de Trois-Rivières and the Cirque du Soleil Group announce that the show “Vive nos divas” to be on the program this summer at the Cogeco Amphitheatre will be postponed to the summer of 2021.

Facing the coronavirus pandemic, Cirque du Soleil is forced to suspend the creation and production of the show which was scheduled for the summer of 2020 and to postpone all performances of the “Vive nos Divas” show scheduled because of this  major event. The show paying tribute to the great female voices of Quebec will therefore be a rendezvous in Trois-Rivières from July 14 to August 14, 2021.

Tickets’ holders for this show are invited to keep their tickets and will receive information by email on how the postponed works. All tickets will be honoured for the new dates of the summer of 2021. For any questions to that effect, you can write to [email protected]. To be able to react quickly to the situation, be patient and wait until you are contacted to avoid flooding the information lines.

Extension of the partnership agreement with the Cirque du Soleil Group

Given the exceptional circumstances leading to the postponement of the show Vive nos divas - Tribute to the great female voices of Quebec, the initial agreement between the two organizations for the presentation of exclusive Cirque du Soleil shows in Trois-Rivières will be improved by one additional year to keep a total of ten productions at the rate of twenty performances per season.
